Relief From Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome is a very common condition that is treated often at San Juan Regional Spine Center. It’s a condition caused by a pinched nerve in the hand that can result in pain, numbness, tingling and weakness in the hand. “One of the biggest symptoms people describe is numbness and tingling that is especially severe at night. It frequently wakes people up and they have to shake or rub their hand to get relief. It can be a quite troublesome problem that really impacts quality of life,” said Dr. Dominic Cannella, Neurosurgeon at San Juan Regional Spine Center. The good news is that there are treatment options for this condition. We offer minimally invasive spine surgery. It is a type of surgery on the bones of your spine (backbone). This type of surgery uses smaller incisions than standard surgery. This often causes less harm to nearby muscles and other tissues. It can lead to less pain and faster recovery after surgery. Learn more about this procedure.
We use the least invasive treatments in order to restore maximum function. By offering a full range of diagnostic and treatment services, each patient receives a customized course of treatment designed to improve your quality of life.
