San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Outpatient Diagnostic Center is conveniently located at our north campus to provide patients easier access to healthcare.
Our facility offers a variety of procedures through its imaging center and outpatient draw station, including:
Imaging
Ultrasound
X-Rays
Digital mammograms
CT scans
Bone-density testing
EKGs
Metabolic screens
Specimen collection
Clinical, anatomical, and cytology testing
Most of our patients are referred to us by their doctors or primary care providers; however, individuals can do self-referrals and make their own appointments for mammograms.
All imaging procedures are performed by highly skilled and trained technologists who are licensed in their modalities. The resulting images are read and interpreted by our team of radiologists, with most results available 12-24 hours after the procedure. We have radiologists available seven days a week.
Our laboratory services have now expanded to include MY LABS: Patient Ordered Blood Testing. This wellness service offers low-cost blood screenings to anyone without a doctor’s referral or appointment. Just come to our draw station during regular business hours and ask for the tests you need. Remember, you will need to fast for 12 hours before testing your blood. Our facility’s outpatient draw station has convenient hours beginning at 6:30 a.m. so patients can come in first thing in the morning and be seen. Most tests available range between $10 and $20. Results are ready in about a week and you have several options to receive them, including the mail, our Patient Portal, or in person at the Health Information Management Department at San Juan Regional Medical Center.
