Dr. Stephen Bernard – Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Bernard received his Bachelor of Combined Science from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio where he was a part of the BS/MD Program. He graduated from medical school at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown. Dr. Bernard was a Cardiology Fellow at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan and completed an Interventional Cardiology Preceptorship at St. John’s Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Bernard is board certified in interventional cardiology and cardiology.
Dr. Rachel Chaney – Cardiologist
Dr. Chaney received her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She went on to pursue her medical degree from UNM’s School of Medicine. Dr. Chaney completed her residency in internal medicine at UNM, as well as fellowships in cardiology and research echocardiography in the University’s Department of Cardiology. Dr. Chaney has more than 20 years of experience as a cardiologist and is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine. She has a special interest in non-invasive cardiology and prevention and congenital heart disease.
Dr. Jude Gabaldon – Cardiologist
Dr. Gabaldon received a bachelor of arts in chemistry and a bachelor of science in biology from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and continued there to pursue his medical degree. He performed a residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and was chosen to participate in Cleveland Clinic’s Internal Medicine Clinical Scholars Program. Dr. Gabaldon returned to the University of New Mexico as a cardiology fellow and is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine.
Dr. Rahul Gokhroo – Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Gokhroo attended medical school at the University of Delhi- Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at John Hopkins University- Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Maryland. He then went on to complete a General Cardiology Fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel-Brooklyn Hospital Center as well as an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. Dr. Gokhroo is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, ABIM cardiovascular medicine, and is a registered physician in Vascular Interpretation.
Dr. Faraz Sandhu – Interventional Cardiologist (coronary and peripheral)
Dr. Sandhu graduated with honors at London University and received his medical degree in medicine and surgery at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. He performed an internal medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed fellowships at the University of Vermont in Burlington in cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, and endovascular medicine. Dr. Sandhu is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology, and endovascular medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention.
Dr. Stephen Mac Kerrow - Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Mac Kerrow received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Science and Management from the University of California, Davis. He also attended the school as a graduate student in Genetics before going on to medical school, graduating with his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Mac Kerrow completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, also at UNM.
Dr. Mac Kerrow is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Medical Association. He has served in the US Air Force Reserve, Colorado Air National Guard and Independent Ready Reserve.
Dr. Cary Rose - Electrophysiologist
Dr. Rose holds undergraduate degrees in Biology and Economics from the University of California Los Angeles. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Rose completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at North Shore University Hospital – NYU School of Medicine. He completed a Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Hahnemann University Hospital – Drexel University College of Medicine.
Christine Graves, FNP-C
Christine has an Associate of Science in Vocational Nursing from Copper Mountain College in Joshua Tree, California; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University; and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. She has worked as a Registered Nurse in San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Department since 2014 and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society of Nursing.
Kelsey Wolfe, FNP-C
Kelsey received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University in Denver. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Before joining San Juan Regional Heart Center, she worked as a registered nurse and charge nurse in the operating room at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
