The Auxiliary of San Juan Regional Medical Center is committed to helping other hospital departments by providing compassionate, well-trained, and resourceful individuals who provide quality care and customer satisfaction.
Volunteers may choose to join the Auxiliary or the inservice program. The Auxiliary is a service organization established in 1952 that sponsors the Gift Market, teenage volunteer program for those 14 years of age and older, and events to raise funds for patient care, equipment, and educational assistance for those interested in a medical profession.
Because of the time investment in orientation and training, we ask volunteers for at least a six month commitment. Some volunteer opportunities include:

Our Mission
To personalize care by providing compassionate assistance and comfort to those most in need, without prejudice or pride. We will strive to use our talents with fundraising and service to benefit SJRMC and our community.
Purpose
The purpose of the Medical Center Auxiliary is to promote the welfare and best interests of the San Juan Regional Medical Center, and its patients through service to the Medical Center and its patients in such manners as shall be requested and approved by the Board of the Medical Center.
The Auxiliary may carry on fund raising activities to benefit the Medical Center as approved by its Board of Directors, provided, however, that no funds of the Auxiliary shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributed to, any members of the Auxiliary, or any officer or director of the San Juan Regional Medical Center
