Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Audiology Department offers care to adults and children with hearing and balance problems. Our healthcare professionals measure and evaluate a person’s ability to hear sounds and educate families on how to manage hearing conditions. 

Services include:

  • Hearing evaluations
  • Hearing aid analysis, service, and repairs
  • Newborn hearing screening
  • Special diagnostic procedures with a referral from your primary care provider

San Juan Regional Medical Center’s Audiology Department is the only one of its kind in Farmington that treats children, and coordinates with school audiologists and the New Mexico School of the Deaf and Hearing Impaired. A physician referral is required for new audiology patients.

Our audiologists are certified through the American Speech Language Hearing Association and licensed in New Mexico.

Luke Hinzmann, AuD, BCABA, CCC-A, CH-TM

Luke attended Central Michigan University for both his bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and his doctorate in Audiology. He completed externships at Portland VAMC in Portland, Oregon and Hearing Rehab Center in Denver, Colorado. He is Board Certified through the American Board of Audiology, has his Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language Association, and is a certificate holder in tinnitus management through the American Academy of Audiology. His clinical experience includes hearing evaluations of all ages, hearing aids, tinnitus management, and diagnostics of balance disorders. Luke enjoys hiking, camping, skiing and enjoying the outdoors in the Four Corners area with his family. He has been a caregiver at SJRMC since 2014.

 

Madilyn Guith, AuD, BCABA, CCC-A, CH-TM

Madilyn was raised in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She attended St. Cloud State for her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Central Michigan University for her doctorate in Audiology. She has completed externships at St. Cloud Ear, Nose, and Throat in St. Cloud, Minnesota and Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She is Board Certified through the American Board of Audiology, has her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language Association, and is a certificate holder in tinnitus management through the American Academy of Audiology. Her clinical experience includes hearing evaluations for all ages, including infants, hearing aids, tinnitus management, and vestibular diagnostics. Madilyn enjoys reading, spending time with her family and two cats, and hiking. She has been a caregiver at SJRMC since 2020.
