San Juan Regional Medical Center would like to thank WalMart for donating two truckloads filled with 32,400 bottles of hand sanitizer – that’s nearly 33,000 pounds! Thanks to this generous donation, we were able to provide hand sanitizer to our clinics, employees, and many local businesses and nonprofits tagged below. Thanks to a generous donation by PNM, each department received a bag of snacks and goodies.
We SEE and appreciate your sacrifices as you strive to keep communities safe. We are so grateful for all of your selfless and determined work throughout the pandemic and beyond. Your life-saving work helps families and generations of New Mexicans. Thank you.
A small group of current and retired employees from the PNM Community Crew came to help stuff the bags and shared what their hopes were in giving this generous gift to all SJRMC caregivers.
“My hope for the caregivers is that they get a little joy and that they get some smiles and some relief. I know they are working very hard, and they are very appreciated. We pray that COVID settles down and that they get a break.” - Mickey Marquez, PNM employee and SJRMC Pet Therapy Volunteer
“My hope for the caregivers is that they realize that even though this gesture, very small in comparison to everything they have done, that we see what they have done, and we appreciate it. We feel blessed to have them and provide what they do. I am amazed.”- Angel Velasquez, PNM employee

San Juan Regional Medical Center would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support we have felt from the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are touched and grateful for the donations we have received, from supplies and personal protective equipment to meals and monetary donations, along with the messages of hope and encouragement many of you have taken the time to write. We feel truly blessed to live in such a caring and giving community and extremely thankful for the love and support our staff is shown on a daily basis. For painting rocks, writing messages on the sidewalks, sewing and delivering masks and surgical caps and hanging signs in your windows, thank you. We are truly touched and proud to be your community owned and operated hospital.
A big thank you to Madisyn, 11, and her 8-year old cousin Jayce who recently decided to sell lemonade, cookies, brownies and muffins to support healthcare workers at San Juan Regional Medical Center. They raised $600.
