Would you like to fill your sails, increase your energy and balance your life? Tired of reaching the end of your day exhausted both physically and mentally? San Juan Regional Medical Center offers a program that can help you find energy you didn't know you had.

F.E.T. promotes growth and development for the whole person–physical, spiritual, mental, emotional–through a step-by-step process. In a 2 ½ day F.E.T. session, you will learn the basics of the body's use and management of energy, how to increase and nurture that energy, and how to feel good about yourself. At the end of the course, you will write your own plan and set your own goals for living a more fully engaged life.

The program, called Full Engagement Training (F.E.T.), was originally developed by the Human Performance Institute out of Orlando, Florida. In 2003, San Juan Regional Medical Center CEO and Board members attended the Corporate Athlete program in Orlando Florida. After attending, board members highly recommended the program for all administrative staff, and in October of 2004, San Juan Regional Medical Center provided F.E.T. to 24 of its employees and managers, thereafter beginning paid voluntary programs for their employees. San Juan Regional Medical Center now offers this program to the community and area businesses and organizations.

Our greatest challenge as human beings is identifying our ultimate mission in life and then finding and following the path that will take us there, Dr. Jim Loehr. What is your ultimate mission? Throughout the program sessions, you will examine where you have been, what course of corrections is required now and where you want to go. F.E.T. program discussions will feature the topics below, so you can take the next step to develop an ultimate personal mission:

Face the Truth - understand and confront the reality of all the dimensions of your engagement through deepening your awareness of the truth.
Nutrition – learn the impact nutrition has on your energy, moods, clarity, metabolism and performance. Discover how and when to eat to achieve full engagement.
Movement – discover how to move and exercise strategically to maximize your energy levels so you can be fully engaged in the things that matter to you. This session is designed to meet the needs of people at various fitness levels.
Defining Purpose – establish core values and discover powerful personal and professional consequences of aligning energy investment with your deepest values for a successful personal change.
Taking Action – design a personal ritual to increase your flow of energy towards those areas of your personal or professional life you want to grow. Commit to a specific launch date and an ongoing accountability system.
Skillful Storytelling – rewrite your old story and change the content of your private voice by making positive changes.
