Funding Support

Board selected Healthy F.E.T. Schools may apply for funds to support their school’s Healthy F.E.T. Kids' participation. Below are the guidelines to collect incentive points. Schools are awarded funds depending on the number of incentive points collected throughout the school year.

Incentive Scale:

5 Points = $50: F.E.T. Starter Kit includes a plaque to hang at your school, water bottles, and ideas on how to get started. To be eligible for this level, your school must have a minimum of ninety percent of teachers and administrators participation in the two-and-one-half F.E.T. training and attend one quarterly recharger.

10 Points = $100: Selected school will offer one parent wellness program per school year promoting F.E.T. principles, and seventy five percent of teachers and administer pre and post testing of students understanding of what is a healthy breakfast, a healthy snack and what is the importance of moving.

15 Points = $150: Selected School to implement one purpose, one movement and one nutrition ritual thru survey questioning among seventy five percent of teachers and school administrators that have participated in F.E.T. during the school year.

20 Points = $200: Selected school to implement one movement and one nutrition principle in seventy five percent of the classroom on a consistent basis (no less than three times per week) that had an F.E.T. trained teacher during the school year. Incentive earnings may be used for the following purchases; exercise equipment including weights or machines, educational materials, interactive digital fitness equipment including weights or machines, educational materials, interactive digital fitness games, yoga mats, pedometers, heart rate monitors, water bottles, Therabands, personal training sessions, healthy snacks, etc.
