AirCare Services Awarded Accreditation

San Juan Regional Medical Center’s AirCare air ambulance service has been reaccredited through 2021 by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS). CAMTS accreditation helps ensure the highest safety and customer care standards through a rigorous audit process.

The reaccreditation process, which San Juan Regional Medical Center goes through voluntarily every three years, ensures that AirCare continually raises the bar for safety and the delivery of critical patient care, continuously improving processes to meet national standards. Criteria for reaccreditation include training and education, aircraft maintenance, and staff and pilot qualifications.

Mammography Accreditation

To achieve the ACR Gold Standard of Accreditation, San Juan Regional Medical Center and its Outpatient Diagnostic Center went through a vigorous review process to ensure that each facility meets nationally-accepted standards of care. Image quality, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs are assessed. Every aspect of the accreditation process is overseen by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field of advanced diagnostic imaging.
