Monday, December 5, 2011 San Juan Regional Medical Center Adds 92 Parking Spaces

(Monday, Dec. 5) Farmington, NM—San Juan Regional Medical Center will add 92 spaces for patient and visitor parking; thirteen spaces on the north end will be super-sized spaces for larger vehicle and truck parking.

“The location was chosen because of the proximity to the main entrance and to serve as an extension of the east parking lot,” says Larry Smith, director of support services.

When the east tower was built in 2006, SJRMC began offering free valet services to relieve parking around the hospital—which many patients and visitors took advantage of. However, with the expansion of the new lot and diminishing demand for valet parking, the service will no longer be available beginning Jan. 15, 2012.
