This is the best class I have ever taken! I learned that it’s not just about diet and exercise, it is so much more – B.C.
I loved this program! It gave me so much insight on who I am and what I need to do to change. All the instructors were great and very informative and helpful. Thank you, you have helped me beyond words!
This program was so much more than I thought it was. Thank you so much for bringing those tools to my life.
Great program! I especially liked the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects.
Thank you for giving me hope.
It was nice that the spiritual aspect of F.E.T. training was focused on what could be more person-centered and not specifically religions. It made it relevant for atheists as well, which was critical for keeping my interest in that aspect. And how food and exercise related to energy levels was SO valuable for me!! Thank you.
I feel I now have the knowledge to make a change in my life for the better.
Loved the program and how I feel leaving here today. I have more excitement and drive than I have in quite a while. It was informative and eyeopening in so many ways.
Incredible program and value. Truly an amazing opportunity for Farmington and the four corners community.
I appreciated being pushed just enough to act without (insistence?) on participating when personal feelings were involved.
Merrion Oil & Gas is dedicated to doing our part to reduce healthcare costs. One of the strategies we have employed for several decades is preventative care. We work in a smoke –free environment, the company pays for employees to enroll in fitness programs, and safety presentations are a regular part of every quarterly meeting. Our focus is on living a safe and healthy lifestyle.
Needless to say, Full Engagement Training fit very well with our company philosophy. The training was offered to all our employees and most employees jumped at the opportunity to participate. - T. Greg Merrion
The class is all about managing your energy so that you are performing at the top of your game no matter what you do, or who you are, or how fit you are. It’s about how to eat correctly, how to exercise correctly, and how to understand what motivates you. I went into the training thinking I already knew all those things. I certainly thought I ate right and exercised right. The fact is, I did not.
It’s been about a month since we took the class, and I’m slowly but surely getting more fully engaged. One of the most important things we learned is how to change our habits. We learned to build changes into our everyday routine so that they will become a habit. I’ve been eating smaller portions more often each day. I’ve also been doing cardio exercising at least three times a week. I actually set a number of other goals for myself… more quality time with my family, better balance to my life, reading more, etc., which I plan to tackle. However, each habit takes time to reinforce, so I’m tackling them one at a time. I chose eating and exercise first because my cholesterol is high.
The bottom line is that I feel very good and more engaged in everything I am doing. I thoroughly enjoyed the two and one/half day class. I thought it was very well run. The material we covered was interesting and relevant. I really enjoy knowing how to eat and exercise properly, and how to manage my energy. The class has made a very positive difference for me and, based on the rumblings I hear, it’s been very helpful for others in our organization, as well! Who could ask for anything more than a healthy, fully engaged workforce?
I attended the F.E.T. program in Orlando the second week in February of 2010. I did not want to go, my mother had just passed away in December and I wasn’t up to the spiritual part of it. I was very pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the program was. There was so much information shared that I had never heard before, especially the nutrition portion. I found out that my blood sugar was fairly high and the nutritionist suggested that I f/u with my physician when I returned home. I did that yesterday and was diagnosed as diabetic. If I hadn’t gone to FET I probably wouldn’t have found out until severe symptoms had set in. - Karin K.
Since February I have cut out all sugar sodas which I was consuming a great deal daily, and I have been exercising daily. I have lost a pant size and lowered my blood sugar level by about 30 points. I am very proud of myself and have a ton of energy. I am very enthusiastic about the program and I am inspiring my staff to attend. I would love to tell everyone who is skeptical about my experience. If I can do it anyone can, and it is the easiest program to follow. I am grateful beyond words to SJRMC for sending me; I can TRULY say that F.E.T. saved my life. – Ed
My journey started at 220 lbs and 40% fat. I hurt everywhere. Feet, knees (which required surgery), hips and back. That’s just the physical stuff. Emotionally weak, spiritually dead, mentally dull. It was a bad place. I had “attended” the second employee F.E.T. class over at the college, but really did nothing with it. Just became aware of some things. I tried a couple of concepts with positive results. That reinforced the idea that maybe this was worth looking at a little closer.
I do not hurt or ache. Reduced my body fat from 40% to 27% today and I am not done…it is a journey for sure! It took me five years to actually write my personal ultimate mission statement. It is hanging on the wall in my office and says, 'To live my life in constant pursuit of fully becoming the MAN God created me to be. I want to be an exceptionally strong leader, following my path courageously toward freedom and to help others on their path to freedom. Everything that I do, I measure against that. I fail, I succeed, and I get better.
