All patients having glucose or lipid testing should fast 12 - 16 hours prior to testing. Please do not drink or eat anything.

The San Juan Regional Medical Center Laboratory provides high quality, cost-effective care to all patients in the Four Corners region. Clinical, anatomical, and cytology testing is done on site by board-certified technologists and pathologists.

The laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, American Association of Blood Banks and the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.
